Hyde Park

Newer homes and everyday convenience in London's northwest.

Hyde Park has deep roots, with its first settlers arriving from England in 1818, but most of what you see today is new. After London annexed the area in the early 1990s, farm fields gave way to subdivisions, townhouse communities and a busy shopping district along Hyde Park Road. It has grown quickly and is now one of the city's most diverse neighbourhoods.

Day-to-day life is easy here. Groceries, restaurants and larger stores are close, and the StarTech.com Community Centre offers recreation. Nature is never far away either: the Sifton Bog, a rare in-city bog with a boardwalk, is a short drive south. Each year the Hyde Park Santa Claus Parade brings the community together for the holidays.
